As part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Evelina London is there for children, young people and women from London to South East England and provides specialist care for families around the UK and across the world. Every year, the number of children and young people Evelina London cares for, in our hospitals and throughout our local community, continues to grow. We support families from pre-conception, before birth, throughout childhood and into adult life. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and build a comprehensive children’s nursing service for the local children/YP and families of Lambeth and Southwark. Adverts closing: 5th May 2024 at Midnight Interview date: 14th May 2024 We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Enuresis lead nurse wishing to expand their skills and knowledge working with children and young people requiring enuresis support and advice. The successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously and has a passion for providing high quality care that supports and empowers Children and Young People to manage their own enuresis care where possible within the home. The post holder as part of flexible working can work full time or term time only with some flexible hours. The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner providing high quality specialist nursing care within the school nurse service. You will support children and families with their enuresis needs The post holder will be responsible for facilitating effective enuresis support to enable the young person to be dry at night. You will also identify when additional support may be required for example the use of an alarm The post holder will provide clinical supervision to other staff, students and may undertake research, lead clinical audits in own specialist area. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and education of other nurses and will be expected to be innovative and flexible. The post holder will work collaboratively across the School Nursing Service ensuring the safety and well-being of services users, and always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centred care principles.
